I’m republishing a letter currently splashed on the Dota-Allstars.com website, written by its creator, Pendragon. DotA-Allstars.com Visitor, Some of you may know me; many of you probably won’t these days. This website was born on October 14th, 2004. It was a mere 2 months after I turned 18, and it was the first website I’d ever made. Guinsoo was the lead developer (before Icefrog), DotA had no competitive scene and maybe 5% of the players... 

Ok. it works like this. I may or may not have sold myself for some beta keys to this game to give away to you (the members of dotastrategy.com). Roughly half of them were gobbled up during DotActics 2010 but that leaves some more for me to get rid of. One of, if not the singularly, biggest DotA tournaments ever has now been announced. The Razer Global Challenge is slotted to feature 1024 teams, with more slots that can be opened if necessary. All of the teams will be competing for a total prize-pool of $30, 000 in cash, as well as some cool swag from Razer for the top teams, a prize worth playing for!
